The Respite

Close to 46% of all ministers under the age of 45 quit or are close to burnout post pandemic, according to a recent Barna study. 

Are you a minister needing to get away for a bit of rest?  

Part of my family’s ministry is a ‘carebnb’ to those involved in full time ministry. We have transformed our basement lower into a guest bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room with a separate entrance. The Respite care services available include spiritual direction, coaching, and/or solitude to ministers and cross cultural missionaries.  

The Lord gave me the name The Respite with the verse in Mark 6:31. Upon the disciples returning from amazing ministry, Jesus saw their need for respite; a short period of rest & refueling. When we get away with Him, we find Him to be our respite.  

This is a resting place for weary minister’s souls to have a space of REST and REFUELING.
